One target was a complex and base camp in the rough terrain of afghanistan. the other, a chemical weapons factory in khartoum sudan. officials say, both under the control of the terrorist osama bin-lauden.

Fearful it was the prelude to another attack, they urged the president to launch. Meanwhile most in congress rallied behind the flag, but considering Mister Clinton's domestic problems, a few eyebrows were raised.

44-year old Denny Coggins Melton of Semora, North Carolina, was arrested today for the murder of Rhonda Bowes Stone.
