Lawyers for a Covington man charged with hiring hit-men to kill his ex-wife's former husband, say it's all a big mistake. Billy Ray Abshire died in a bomb blast in Rupert West Virginia 22 years ago.
Carroll Eugene Humphries is one of four people charged with the homicide.

The medical examiner says a man found dead in his RV in Roanoke County this weekend was strangled.
Police say a shirt was wrapped around the neck of 49-year-old Charles Mandakis, Senior, of Roanoke.
The man's body was discovered in his vehicle on Route 220, near the Franklin/Roanoke County line.
The case is under investigation; detectives can't say for sure yet that Mandakis was murdered.

The decision came after the teams starting QB Oscar Davenport underwent successful surgery to remove torn cartilage and repair a torn ligament in his left knee later Sunday.
The injury occurred on the fourth play of the Heels' season opening loss to Miami (ohio). Davenport will likely be out of the lineup for 4 to 5 weeks.
Last year Davenport broke his right fibula damaged ligaments in his other knee.

The Roanoke Express made a couple of player moves today plus, the team confirmed that recently signed Chris Cantu will open the preseason in the training camp of the IHL's Detroit Vipers.
Detroit's camp is 20 minues from his hometown and a natural fit. If he ends up back in the ECHL he will be in a Roanoke uniform.
Mike Peron who joined the season after being waived by the Jacksonville Lizard Kings was a fan favorite last season.
