The boy was charged with arson last month in coonection with one of several fires set at the Willow River Apartment Complex in Salem. Today the child was found NOT guilty.

Jean, Juvenile and Domestic Relations court Judge Charlie Dorsey says he suspects the boy had something to do with the fire. But he ruled there was insufficient evidence to convict the child on criminal charges.

Prosecutor Fred King acknowledges that the court determined the case was not proven beyond a reasonable doubt.

King says since the last big fire, there ahve been no other fires at the apartment complex. The child on trial today did give the names of other youngsters that he said were involved in setting the fires at the complex.

A Roanoke man says he killed his three-year-old son to protect the boy from any suffering.

After a standoff with police at his ex-girlfriend's apartment last March -- Vaughn fired two shots at police, wounding one officer.

Vaughn signed a plea agreement to avoid facing a jury.

The President of the United States testifying before a grand jury .beamed across the country and around the world to TV sets and even computers via the Internet. It was a four hour session that included graphic sexual descriptions, admissions, denials and legal wrangling..all in the Monica Lewinsky affair.
CLINTON: THESE ENCOUNTERS DID NOT CONSIST OF SEXUAL INTERCOURSE. THEY DID NOT CONSTITUTE SEXUAL RELATIONSHIPS AS I UNDERSTOOD THAT TERM TO BE DEFINED IN MY JANUARY 17TH, 1998 DEPOSITION. BUT THEY DID INVOLVE INAPPROPRIATE AND INTIMATE CONTACT. Throughout the tape, Kenneth Starr and his prosecutors grilled the President about his relationship with Lewinsky.trying to make a case for perjury and obstruction of justice. But Mister pushed back.
