16-year old Randy Ross was arrested September 7th for the shooting death of Jamelle Poindexter.
Now authorities are charging Ross's 16-year old girlfriend with murder as well.
The teen had originally faced just robbery charges for the theft of Poindexter's car.
But investigators say additional information has led them to charge the girl with murder, robbery and using a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Both are being held in the Lynchburg juvenile detention home.

One truck driver is still in critical condition at the University of Virginia Medical Center with severe burns.
But the other nine are now out of the hospital and are coming to grips with what happened.
