The victim was 20-year-old Myaish (my-EESH) Eubanks.
He was heading east on the 460 bypass about 3:45 this morning, when his truck ran off the road, struck a guardrail and overturned.

The governor today said he's convinced he was right to get involved in the Hugh Finn case.

Finn was a former Kentucky television anchorman who suffered severe brain damage in a car accident three years ago.

But, today the governor said if a situation similar to Finn's comes up again, he would probably take the issue to court again.

Actor Roddy McDowall is being remembered as a kind and wonderful person.
McDowall died today, he was suffering from cancer.
As a child actor, he was evacuated to the U.S. from London during World War II.

When the Timber Lake dam collapsed in 1995, homeowners in that Campbell County subdivision were stuck with a million- dollar repair bill.
The problem is not everyone volunteered to pay their fair share.
Some felt creating a Watershed Improvement District would solve the problem.. that issue was put to a vote today.

(( For just the second time in Virginia history, voters were deciding whether to create a Watershed Improvement District, or WID, this one for the Timber Lake area of Campbell County.

The police investigation into the U-V-A baby switching case will end next week.

Attorney Cynthia Johnson says police don't know how the two babies were sent home with the wrong parents in July 19-95.
Johnson says she plans to file a lawsuit accusing the hospital of denying her client, Paula Johnson, the opportunity to raise her biological child.

Meanwhile, Johnson is also taking her cause to Capitol Hill.
She recently went to Washington, DC in support of Texas Democrat Sheila Jackson Lee's bill.
That bill threatens to withold funding from hospitals that don't prevent parents from leaving with the wrong baby.
The bill also imposes a fine and jail time for people who destroy identification records or purposely misidentify a baby.
Economic development groups in Virginia are urging voters to back two changes to the state constitution in the November election.
But Governor Gilmore wants voters to reject those two amendments.
Amendment three would allow local governments to set up an independent agency to supervise industrial parks or other joint economic development projects.
Amendment four deals with the long-term debt localities may face in economic development agreements. It would exempt this type of debt from the limits now imposed on localities.
Gilmore's against both ideas.
