The U-V-A Medical Center is under fire yet again.
This time, a Roanoke man is concerned about the way the hospital's staff treated his fiancee, who died there four years ago.

Pittsylvania County's prosecutor says what Fitzgerald did was the worst criminal event in the county's history.

He says he "did it," and his mind "was just gone" at the time.

The execution is set for tomorrow night.

The company has proposed a $55-million dollar hike in its fuel rate.
For the average customer, that means paying an extra dollar each month.

The Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries believes Deer Hemorrhagic Disease is what's causing the deaths of dozens of deer.
Wildlife biologists say the white-tailed deer are suffering from the common infectious disease. Similar outbreaks have been reported across the Southeast. Officials say the disease poses no threat to humans or domestic pets.
