A guilty plea today from a 15-year-old charged in a Richmond school shooting that wounded a teacher and teacher's aide.

As part of the plea agreement, Quinshawn Booker will live in a home for troubled boys until he finishes its program.

He will also be on probation until he turns 21.
Booker could spend up to 25 years in prison IF he gets in any more trouble with the law.
The high school teacher wounded in the June shooting says he supports the agreement.

Family members say the lawyers have suggested that Pritchett plead guilty in exchange for a lesser sentence. They think it's part of a conspiracy to convict an innocent man.

Pritchett's attorneys would not confirm or deny whether they have recommended a plea agreement, saying only that they are doing what is in their client's best interest. The family is seeking help from the Roanoke chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, the national N-double-A-C-P and the American Civil Liberties Union. SCLC officials say Pritchett will tell Judge Ray Grubbs he is dissatisfied with his attorneys in hopes of getting the case continued. The family plans to replace his legal team.

Israeli President Benjamin Netanayhau issued a statement saying that Israel wishes to achieve an agreement and hopes there is similar desire on the Palestinians' side.

President Clinton signed a 520 billion dollar spending package- that passed the Senate earlier today.
But even though the bill passed, many lawmakers complained they never had the chance to read it- IT was congerssional leaders that agreed on the bill with the White House.
The plan covers health, education foreign aid and justice programs.
Some complain it also includes too much for studies on grasshopper research and development of caffeinated chewing gum.

From the Tech women's court, former Lord Botetourt standout and Hokie sophomore guard Sarah Hicks will miss the entire 1998-99 season due to an injured shoulder sustained during preseason workouts.
Hicks is scheduled to undergo surgery next week and will receive a medical redshirt. Sarah underwent the same surgery on her left shoulder at the end of last season.
Hicks played in 25 games as a freshman on a team that won the A-10 tournament and made it to the NCAA tournament.
