Dale Jarrett took the lead from Rusty Wallace with 308 laps left to go in the race.
Then the second caution of the day comes out when Sterling Marlin slides on the track and gets hit by Johnny Benson.

Mark Martin had a long stop in the pits on the caution because of a problem with a spring on the right front side of the car.
Jeff Gordon was as high as third and he would clinch the Winston Cup Points championship with just over 200 laps left in the race.
But Rusty Wallace would dominate the race until he slowed down and Gordon passed him with 9 laps to go.
Gordon pulled away and he would take the checkered flag ahead of Dale Jarrett winning the championship and the A-C Delco 400, his 12-th Winston cup win of the season.

The P-G-A tour was in Atlanta for the Tour Championship.
V.J. Singh was 1 over during the final 54 holes and that allowed Hal Sutton to win the championship.
Sutton would sink this six foot birdie putt on the first hole of sudden death to beat Singh and claim the 720-thousand dollar first prize. The win also moved Sutton into 10-th place and a spot on the Presidents cup team.
