The defense rests.
Late yesterday afternoon, Emmett Cressell's attorneys finished presenting their case.
Cressell is charged with capital murder in the death of Garnett "G-P" Johnson.
Christy Harden was the main witness -- testifying she believes Cressell is innocent.
But as Teresa Hamilton reports, Cressell's attorneys are NOT ready to say why they did NOT put their client on the stand.

West will be on intensive supervision for the next two years... that's four times longer and requires him to meet with his parole officer four times more OFTEN than the average parolee.

Judge James Turk said that Arrington's failing health is behind the 16-month prison sentence he received yesterday for his role in a drug ring.
Jordan Arrington, Kenneth Lanier and Gail Arrington were all sentenced yesterday for conspiracy to possess heroin with intent to distribute.
Lanier and Gail Arrington were each sentenced to two and a half years in prison.
