The prosecution says the shooting happened during a failed attempt to steal drugs and money from the victim.

The Commonwealth's Attorney asked that we not show her face.
Yesterday, she testified that her boyfriend came running into the bedroom just before the gunfire started.

A Florida man has been arrested for allegedly trying to poison three Radford University students during a Halloween weekend party.
Twenty-five- year old Kristopher Michael Vanburen of Fort Lauderdale allegedly poured the date rape drug G-H-B into the women's drinks on October 30th.
He is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing January fourth.

A father and businessman in Michigan may soon be locked up in Virginia -- for a crime he committed over two decades ago.

When 49-year-old Alfred Martin was stopped on a traffic charge last week, Michigan police saw he was wanted in Virginia.
In 1974, he was convicted of selling marijuana and sentenced to serve a year on the Martinsville city farm.

The truck slammed into the turning Cherokee, then struck a telephone pole and overturned.
