It happened again this morning, students at Narrows high school were sent home by another bomb threat.

Jean that could come as early as tomorrow. Giles and State police investigators will issue a joint statement tomorrow morning... They won't release any details yet, but based on what WE saw tonight, they are very close to filing charges.

Yesterday police were apparently able to determine where some of the calls were coming from... A pay phone at a Food Lion shopping plaza in Pearisburg, and another pay phone, a couple of miles a way, at the Save-A-Lot store.
This afternoon their investigation moved to a new level... with officers questioning several students at the Sheriff's office. By the end of the day, they said they were almost ready to make a statement.))

The police investigation into how two babies were switched at birth three years ago at the University of Virginia Medical Center has come to a halt -- with NO clear answers.
NEWS 7 has learned the police report has been turned over to Commonwealth's Attorney in Charlottesville with NO clear findings of fault, no suspects or criminal allegations.

Commonwealth's Attorney Dave Chapman is expected to talk to the families of Rebecca Chittum in Buena Vista and Callie Johnson in Greene County in a matter of days about any details he will be making public.
A source close to the investigation says the 1995 baby switch may have simply been a mistake.
The police investigation is expected to remain open indefinitely, just in case new information comes up.

Police at the University of Virginia are stepping up efforts to find a man who raped a female student, and is suspected in the attack of another.

Charlottesville authorities say the suspect struck again Saturday night, when he jumped from behind a church and attacked a 21-year old woman.
Police think the same man raped a 19-year-old woman under Beta Bridge at the University in October.
2 sorority house break-ins were also reported in October -- and the supsect in both break-ins matches the description of the attacker.
UVa is sending out e-mail warnings to all female students.

A Roanoke civil rights group is questioning an investigation that exonerated two Roanoke police officers involved in a pepper spray incident that left a man dead.

Police say the driver climbed out the passenger side door and was only slightly hurt.

The Irish Dance Troupe graced the Roanoke Civic Center -- minus its famed star -- American Michael Flatley.
Flatley formed the Celtic dance troupe in 1994.
Since March, "Lord of the Dance" has crossed the globe with stops in Holland, Belgium, and South Africa, among others.
