He was rushed to the hospital yesterday with a 102 degree temperature.
In recent weeks the 67 year old Russian leader has been sidelined with a variety of problems.. including exhaustion and respiratory illness. The Kremlin maintains his condition is not critical.

A 16-year old boy is dead after being shot by his brother during a hunting trip.
On Saturday, the boy and his 12-year old brother were hunting in Amherst County.
Police say the 12 year old was carrying a gun and accidentally shot and killed his older brother.
Authorities are not releasing the boys' names.
This is the second such accident involving brothers this month.
About a week ago a 20-year old man shot and killed his younger brother during a hunting trip in Franklin County.

The cause of the fire has not been determined, but church officials say they've been told arson has been ruled out. Locklear says they've already started rebuilding the church but it will take at least a year before it's completed. Until then, services will be held at a neighboring church.

New evidence is prompting police to begin digging outside an apartment building where Gacy's mother once lived.

Ten members of a missing Colorado doomsday cult have turned up Jerusalem.
About 75 sect followers and their children disappeared last month.
Israeli police are keeping a close eye on them, fearing they may be planning a mass suicide at the end of the year.

(( In the kitchen on a mount of olives overlooking Jerusalem, a California ex-convict named Raymond studies the scriptures. He says the end is at hand. Raymond: It's almost as if something is quickening, something is quickening, you know reaching some breaking point, somethings, you know building up, building up.

A few weeks ago he says god spoke to him and sent him here to await the second coming of Christ in the year 2000. Raymond: The message that got me, grabbed me and shook me out of bed was, I'm coming back, get ready.

Raymond isn't the only whose heeded the call, Brother David, a former trailer park operator from upstate New York, is the pastor of a small colony of born again believers who expect apocalypse soon. Brother David: I feel that by coming here at this particular time that we are able to secure in the spiritual realm front row seats for whats about to happen.

Jerusalem is better known for the variety of the faiths practiced here and for the ability of those faiths to get along. An outbreak of millenium fever may be about the last thing this city needs. Schulman On Camera: No one knows how many people will come for New Years 2000, but imagine for a moment the worst case scenario. The mountains behind me covered with people from one end to the other, they need food, water and sanitation and they are expecting Jesus any minute now. That's giving some city officials apocalyptic visions of their own.
City official: The Christian freaks will meet Jewish freaks or Muslim freaks and each one will fight for the territory of his own god and when there is too much god, there is always blood shed.
Brother David and his friends seem peaceful to a fault. How bad a case of millenium fever Jerusalem gets may depend on whether they turn in to the adavanced guard of a born again invasion or remain a tiny band quietly living out their beliefs in the city of their dreams. A 16-year old boy was killed in a weekend hunting accident.
The boy and his 12-year old brother were hunting in Amherst County when the 12-year old accidentally shot and killed the older boy.
Investigators are not releasing the boys' names.

The members of the First Prebyterian Church in Collinsville are holding services, despite not having a sanctuary to hold them in.
Yesterday, they worshipped in a tent-- a week after a fire destroyed the church building.
Leaders say they're already rebuilding, but it will take more than a year to finish the work.
The cause of the fire has not been determined, but church members say arson has been ruled out.
