Eric, the victim's bloody body was discovered in a quiet rural community--a place where people rarely lock their doors.

Hubert Quinn's home is just yards away from the site.
He said he noticed several investigators in the area and went down to check it out.

Officials say-- and these blood stains indicate, the victim suffered massive head injuries.
Authorities think the victim was from Roanoke and was in his mid-20s.

Lynchburg is reshuffling its city government in order to serve its customers.. the citizens.. better.

Church also announced the appointment of Curtis Randolph to the position of deputy city manager.
Randolph has been with the city for 12 years, most of that as assistant city manager.
He replaces Reggie Whitley who will continue to serve as a paid consultant on a number of city projects.
A few months ago the city of Clifton Forge was so low on money, officials thought about filing for bankruptcy.
Now, the city manager is considering a new business venture--selling bottled water.
The idea may bring the city as much as a million dollars a year.

A possible name for the product is The Alleghany Highlands Spring Pure Water.

Some members of the Northminister Presbyterian Church were ringing in the holiday season with handbells.
It's part of a more recent American tradition celebrating Christmas.

The Memorial Bell Choir is made up of 11 members. They come from all professions and put in many hours of practice to produce the rich sounds.
Sounds the director of the group says can only be created by depending on each other.

Chad Briscoe has been coaching these boys for two years, but he's been playing pro-ball in Sweden for the past four seasons.
