Blacksburg fire fighters worked quickly tonight to keep flames from a mobile home fire from spreading.

Alvin Revin was at home around six thirty this evening when his furnace caught fire.
Revin says he quickly ran outside and cut off the oil supply but it was too late.
He says he did NOT even have time to grab his shoes or wallet before the fire had spread throughout his older model mobile home.
Fire fighters also had to work to keep the fire from spreading to a nearby apartment complex.

Now investigators are on the trail of his killers.
