Police believe they've recovered the weapon used to kill a Pulaski teenager, last week.

Authorities on Sunday recovered a nine- millimeter handgun they suspect was used to kill 19- year old John Christopher Dean at the Washington Square Apartments.
Police also recovered a second weapon during their search.

The director of a home for troubled kids in Campbell County is the target of a sexual harassment lawsuit by a former employee.

Sandy Gregory is named in the four- count lawsuit filed last week by his former choir director Laura Simmons.
Simmons worked at the Patrick Henry Boys and Girls Plantation for 15 months before she quit last December.
She claims Gregory repeatedly committed sexual battery on her, and exposed himself on at least six other occasions.


She's seeking more than 100-thousand dollars in damages.
Gregory would not comment on the suit.

As the British jets took evasive action this morning, U-S F-16's fired radar-guided HARM missiles and released 500-pound SMART bombs.

An accountant in Los-Angeles has been named by police as the one of those who called in an anthrax threat two weeks ago.
The threat shut down a a federal bankruptcy court.
The F-B-I says Harvey Spelkin committed the crime to delay a hearing over missed court appearances.
He is charged with violating the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act, though no anthrax was used.
Federal authorities have investigated more than two dozen anthrax threats across the country in recent months.

It seems herds of wild Mustang roam this part of Nevada.
Some of the Mustangs were shot on a ridge - stallions, colts, even pregnant mares - then crawled to die in a valley called Devils Flat.

Two capital murder suspects have agreed to come back to Franklin County.
Timothy Martin and Thomas Akers face capital murder charges for allegedly beating to death Wesley Smith of Roanoke.
Police found the two men on an Indian reservation in Franklin County, New York.
Deputies are bringing both men back to jail in Rocky Mount.

The Virginia Tech men's basketball team was back on the hardwood last night inside the Cassell closing out 1998 with a few of its closest friends in attendance.

Rick Mast's great adventure during this offseason has finally come to a happy end.
Mast told News 7 sports this afternoon that he will be driving a full Winston Cup schedule next season

for car owner Cale Yarborough.
Just before Thanksgiving of this year, Cale was forced to shutdown his racing operation after a dozen years when his sponsor Thorn Apple Valley meat processors discontinued its financial backing.

But Mast says Yarborough now has a new partner, additional money and a new sponsor that will be announced in the coming days.
Mast says the team will run Fords the entire 1999 season starting with the Bud Shootout in Daytona on February 7th.


His contract with Cale Yarborough Motorsports is a one year deal.
