After rescue crews cut open the plane, they took the two passengers to Stonewell Jackson Hospital in Lexington.
Thirty-six-year-old Daniel Luby of Abingdon, Maryland, is still there, said to be stable.

Fifty-nine-year-old William Herb of Lutherville, Maryland, also stable, was transported to Roanoke Memorial hospital.
The pilot -- who owned the plane -- is in serious condition at Roanoke Memorial.
Back at the crash site, a rescue worker said the three men were lucky they got help right away or they could've frozen to death...others were amazed they survived when their plane was ripped apart.
It could take weeks before investigators know for sure what caused the plane to go down.

Both lanes will reopen this evening, but gaurdrail work may continue tomorrow.
In what's been a very busy and traumatic week for the county's emergency crews, some rescuers are finding the time to help each other.
