((THE FIRST THING I AM GOING TO DO IS SAUTE SOME GARLIC ABOUT FOUR CLOVES WORTH. I ALREADY HAD IT CUT UP AND STUFF. It smells great I can not wait to taste it already. MAKE SURE IT MIXES WITH THE OLIVE OIL FOR NICE FLAVOR AND YOU CAN LET THAT GO AS LONG AS YOU WANT. GO AHEAD AND ADD SOME ONIONS. IT IS ABOUT 1 OR 1 AND A HALF MEDIUM ONIONS. It is a nice sound too.
YEAH IT LETS EVERYONE KNOW THAT DINNER IS ON ITS WAY.
We add mushrooms as well.
YEAH WE WILL PUT THOSE IN NOW.
Where did you come up with the recipe for this.
I SAW A RECIPE IN A MAGAZINE THAT HAD SOME OF THIS IN BUT I WANTED FOOL WITH IT A LITTLE BIT AND ADD TO IT THE THINGS WE LIKE TO ENJOY.
Ok we have to start putting everything together now.
ADD THE FAT FREE RICOTTA CHEESE IT WORKS PRETTY WELL. NICE AND GOOEY. THEN ADD A CUP OF MOZARELLA AND ABOUT A CUP OF PARMASEAN AT THIS POINT.
Very Nice.
NOW ADD SOME COLOR. THIS IS CHOPPED SPINACH.
Now do you roll your sleeves up or not.
WELL YOU ARE DOING THE MIXING SO I DON'T CARE. IT IS NICE AND SLOPPY THERE.
Oh I forgot to wash my hands...I am just kidding.
NEXT WE ADD THE SAUTED INGREDIENTS AS YOU CAN SEE THIS MAKES A WAD. THE WARM INGREDIENTS HELPS THE CHEESE TO MELT ALITTLE AND IT MIXES TOGETHER BETTER. VERY GOOD YOU ARE AN EXPERT AT MAKING A MESS. THIS IS GOOD FOR KIDS TOO.
OK NOW WE DO THE OTHER MESSY PART. IF YOU GRAB THE SHELLS BY THE ENDS AND PUSH THEY OPEN UP A LOT EASIER. ALL YOU DO IS PUT IT IN THERE AS MUCH AS YOU WANT AND THEN SET IT DOWN IN THE ....UH UH..PAN.
Pan...hahaha this is a Virginia Tech man right here.
HEY WHAT CAN I SAY.
Now we have to do a bunch of these before we can put it into the oven right?
YEAH YOU CAN SPEND A LOT OF TIME MAKING THEM LOOK ALL PRETTY THAT IS FINE OR YOU CAN JUST PUT THEM IN THE PAN AND THEN YOU ARE SET TO GO. JUST POP IT IN THE OVEN.
OK NOW WE NEED A TOPPING FOR ALL OF THIS WHICH IS NO BIG DEAL. I CUT UP SOME TOMATOES AND ADD SOME TOMATOE SAUCE AND YOU ADD THE OREGANO. YOU CAN DO A SPAGHETTI SAUCE IF YOU WANT BUT I JUST PREFER IT THIS WAY. YOU CAN USE FRESH TOMATOES TOO BUT THIS TIME OF YEAR THEY ARE KIND OF HARD TO FIND.
And a little pricey too.
ALL YOU DO THEN IS LADLE IT ON.
Alright we are all ready to bake it. 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
WHEN YOU PULL IT OUT PUT SOME PARMEASEAN CHEESE ON TOP AND LET IT COOK FOR ANOTHER 10 MINUTES AND THAT IS IT.
AfteR 45 minutes of stiumulating conversation. You are ready to dive into this stuff.
YEP AND SERVE IT WITH A SALAD AND YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR A MEAL.
Ummmm the tomatoes on top make it really good.
YEAH I LIKE IT BETTER THAN SAUCE BECAUSE YOU USE SAUCE FOR EVERYTHING AND THIS GIVES IT A LITTLE DIFFERENT TASTE.
Great job Paul Lancaster))
