Some much so that the company is spending ten-million dollars to expand two of its manufacturing plants-- in Stanleytown and in Lexington, North Carolina.

The news for General Electric workers is a little better this year than it's been in the past.

But in other years, they've been forced to stop working altogether for two weeks without pay.

Forty- four year old Paul Anthony Harris faces multiple LIFE terms on allegations that the stuff he was distributing was the death of one man and came CLOSE to killing another.
A Federal prosecutor told the judge this afternoon that Harris is a long-time drug abuser himself.

The FBI has charged a second man in last summer's robbery of a bank in Dublin.
Christian Viebrock (VEE-brock) was arrested at his home in Blacksburg this morning.
He's accused of robbing the American Federal Savings Bank, along with Christian David Cahours.
Cahours, who's also from Blacksburg, pled guilty last week.

Police in Danville are now treating Wednesday night's double shooting as a murder investigation.

Police have NOT made any arrests.

It's in response to the incident about two weeks ago --when Admiral's coach John Brophy allegedly pushed two Civic Center employees and spit at a police officer.
Officials are trying to make sure THAT kind of behavior hasn't rubbed off on any of the fans.
