((Props to Lord Botetourt's Brad Hutchins who scored his one thousandth career point Tuesday night in a loss to Salem.
Cave Spring Fab freshman J.J. Redick is the RVD's third leading scorer, who averages 18 a game, shoots 85 percent form the charity stripe and..he's barely 14 years old.
((J.J. REDICK/CAVE SPRING SECOND LEADING SCORER:))
((BILLY HICKS/CAVE SPRING HEAD COACH:))
12 and 6 Pulaski County lost leading scorer Dorian Henricks to grades two weeks ago, but rebounded by beating Cave Spring and Patrick Henry.
((MARK CASSERI/PULASKI COUUNTY HEAD COACH:))
Charles Stephens and Marquis Cunningham are at Richmond. Stephens averages 16 points a game while Cunningham about 10 after leading G.W. Danville to the 3A state title.
((:))
Franklin County star Kelly Preston's sock tradition might be discontinued, even though she feels they help her lead the RVD in rebounding. Floyd coach Alan Cantrell has already banned his 1 and 17 Buffaloes new look, which began at the beginning of the season.))

Neither did 6-year-old Kandice Schaefer -- until today.
The little girl who suffers from cystic fibrosis has always wanted to make a snow man.
But Texas weather wouldn't comply.
So a local radio station dumped two TONS of snow on Kandice's front lawn this morning.
