In his opinion, unless it snows extremely hard-- residents shouldn't have too many problems getting around thanks the recent stretch of warm temperatures-- which have left the ground and pavement relatively warm.
But should Old Man Winter be a force to reckon with-- Brugh says his office is prepared to take handle roads in Montgomery, Giles and Pulaski Counties.
This morning-- his crews were making last minute minor repairs to equipment.
And-- a number of his staff are prepared to work twelve hour shifts starting at 8-pm.

The family of one of thegirls switched at birth appears to have reached a financial settlement with the state.
Two million dollars will be paid to Rebecca Chittum of Buena Vista-- in stages until she turns 30.
The family of the other girl, Callie Johnson, rejected a settlement offer.
A newspaper said the lawyer for Callie's mother made a counter-offer of 25 million dollars.

Now a study out of Baylor Medical College in Houston has found this same virus in certain types of cancer, including a rare form of lung cancer.
