An accident on Interstate 81 caused no serious injuries, but it did prove the point of state police-- who are patrolling the highway in an effort to enforce traffic laws.
A truck driver was charged with improper lane changing for clipping the back of a car. And as David Johnson reports, officials say it's a perfect example of the dangerous driving they're trying to reduce.

Health violations-- including roaches-- forced health inspectors to close down the Star City Diner for five days, but officials say that's rare.

The restaurant reopened on Wednesday, after inspectors confirmed that the most serious violations had been corrected.
In the Roanoke Valley, there are now about 600 full-service restaurants, and health officials say the vast majority cooperate with inspectors and take food safety seriously.
Environmental Health Manager Dick Tabb says enforcement is a last step.

He was once an aide to the Governor of West Virginia, now he's behind bars. Thomas D. Rice is accused of soliciting sex from a minor in Virginia over the internet.
He was charged as part of an on-going program targeting on- line crimes against children.
Rice was chief of operations under former West Virginia governor Gaston Caperton.
He was arrested last night and is being held at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail in Bedford County.
Bedford County Sherriff Mike Brown will hold a news conference later this morning.
