The latest winter storm dumped anywhere from one to three inches across the Roanoke area... and two to four inches in the New River Valley.

Franklin County school officials say children would be in more danger if they were picked up OFF of Route 220 -- so they're keeping most highway bus stops.

When a flatbed trucker crashed into a schoolbus and a car and killed two people on Route 220 about a month ago, school officials wondered if the bus stops on the highway were unsafe.

The widow of a man whose decomposing body was found on a rural Campbell County hill in September is charged with killing him.

Olivarri's 29- year- old estranged wife Sandra Ann Olivarri and 32- year- old William Curtis Tidwell were arrested Tuesday afternoon in Lynchburg.
Police say both had been suspects from the start.. although Olivarri had denied any involvement.

The estranged wife of a Campbell county man is ONE of the suspects under arrest for his murder.

Today, authorities arrested Olivarri's estranged wife and a male friend of hers and charged them both with murder.
