A new south Roanoke County high school could become a reality tomorrow.
The debate has been around for years-- whether to build the new high school, how to pay for it, and where it should go up.
Tomorrow, the Roanoke County Board of Supervisors consider a special use permit for the Woods End property.

The site is located just off Old Cave Spring Road, not far from the intersection of Brambleton and Route 419.
But even as the project appears to be moving forward, some county residents who live near the site are trying to put on the brakes.

That's pretty close to the increases at many Roanoke area stations over the same time.
But prices nationwide are still about 24 cents below those just a year-and-a-half ago.

Will there be a presidential primary in Virginia next year?
State Republican leaders met over the weekend, and concluded that having a winner-take-all primary would lessen local influence over delegate selection.
But those conventions won't come until next year, and by then the presidential nomination may no longer be in doubt.
The state party has until July first to decide.
State Democrats have indicated NO interest in holding a presidential primary next year.
