Governor Jim Gilmore has made his changes to the latest General Assembly budget.
Among the highlights: he's cut new funding for museums and historic sites that lawmakers had based on revenues the state has yet to collect.
He's cut almost four million dollars allocated to renovate the Virginia Tech Dairy Barn-- a move that suprised the University.
He signed the bill that would allow the state to issue bonds for U-S 58 along southside Virginia, and road work in northern Virginia.
And he's leaving money alone that would reimburse Michelle Finn for her legal fight with the Governor -- Gilmore intervened to try to keep her from removing her comatose's husband's feeding tubes.
The Governor has a midnight deadline on Monday to finish his work on any other 1999 bills.

((is is an elegant twist on the regular old chicken salad sandwich, right?
RIGHT.
Show us how to do it...get into it girl.
OK, HERE WE GO. WE ARE GOING TO PREPARE A SAUCE TO MIX IT WITHUSING OUR MAYONAISE.
Look how easy that was!
AND THIS IS OUR MUSTARD...DIJON MUSTARD FOR EXTRA FLAVORING. TO THID WE ARE ADDING BACON BITS AND PARSLEY
The parsley is hidden at the bottom there
THEN WE ARE GOING TO ADD SOME FINELY CHOPPED ONION AND THEN SWISS CHEESE, GRATED.
Ok, and this serves kind of as our dressing?
THIS IS A DRESSING THAT GOES INTO YOUR CHICKEN LIKE IF YOU WERE MAKING CHICKEN SALAD.
Tell us how you are a professional caterer.
OH, ANDREW, I'M NOT A PROFESSIONAL. I JUST LOVE TO COOK AND I LOVE TO HELP MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY WITH THEIR WEDDINGS OR LITTLE PARTIES. AND COOKING IS MY OUT. I JUST THROUGHLY ENJOY COOKING. YOU CAN ASK ANY IF 'EM.
SO NOW ANDREW, WE HAVE MADE OUR SAUCE FOR OUR CHICKEN RING. WE ARE GOING TO TAKE A HALF A CUP OF IT AND PUT IT IN OUR FLAKED CHICKEN. THIS CHICKEN IS A TEN OUNCED CAN OF WHITE FLAKED CHICKEN BREAST THAT YOU CAN GET AT ANY LOCAL GROCERY STORE.
So what's going to happen to the rest of that dressing you have left over?
WE ARE GOING TO SERVE THAT DRESSING WITH THE CHICKEN AFTER IT'S BAKED.
NOW WE ARE JUST MIXING IT UP REAL THROUGHLY. YOU WANT ALL THE ONIONS AND BACON BITS FLAVOR TO GET ALL THROUGH YOUR CHICKEN.
OK ANDREW, NOW WE ARE GOING TO GET OUR BREAD READY, WHICH WE ARE USING "CRESENT ROLLS"
And we are laying them around this, I just figured it out here, but it's going to be a nice ring because you are going to have these all around the outside of the ring and then we will have a dice dip in the middle.
WE HAVE LETTUCE, TOMATO, AND DIP IN THE MIDDLE.
I ROLL THEM OUT, PICK A SEGMENT UP. IT'S ALREADY PREFERATED, YOUR EDGES ARE PREFERATED. IT'S NOT HARD TO DO AT ALL. SEPERATE THEM AND PLACE THEM ON...I HAVE A STONE HERE THAT IS FROM "PAMPERED CHEF" THAT I DO PARTIES FOR, BUT YOU ARE WELCOMED TO USE IT ON A PIZZA PAN.
OK, NOW WE ARE GOING TO TAKE OUR CHICKEN AND START APPLYING IT TO THE CRESENT ROLLS.
THIS IS LIKE A COOKIE SCOOKER AND YOU JUST KEEP GOING ALL THE WAY AROUNT IT. AND THIS JUST COMES UP MOST DELICIOUS. IT REALLY IS A FAVORITE THAT I COOK FOR FRIENDS ALL THE TIME THIS IS ONE OF THE THINGS THAT THEY REQUEST.
NOW WE ARE GOING TO TAKE EACH TRIANGLE AND LIFT IT OVER AND JUST TUCK IT UNDER. AND THAT WAY EACH GUEAT THAT YOU HAVE WILL HAVE THEIR OWN LITTLE CHICKEN SALAD SANDWICH HERE
This is great. It is probably going to look pretty cool when we are done.
YOU JUST LAP IT OVE, TUCK IT UNDER. NOW IT IS READY FOR THE OVEN.
We have got the oven preheated and all ready to go here...how hot was it again?
350 DEGREES.
Aha, it must be 20 minutes later as the timer goes off. Caroline, show us the beautiful finished product here. And I'll help you out because you have got the mits on.
Look at that, that is beautiful. Wonderful looking thing, alright! But it's not done yet.
IT'S NOT DONE YET. OK ANDREW, I TOLD YOU THAT WE HAD A SAUCE THAT WE WERE GOING TO SERVE WITH OUR PIECES OF CHICKEN AS WE EAT THEM AND I HAVE PUT THEM IN A NICE GREEN BELL PEPPER HERE.
WHILE OUR CHICKEN RING IS HOT, I AM GOING TO SPRINKE A LITTLE BIT OF SWISS CHEESE AROUND ON IT. SO WHILE IT IS WARM, IT WILL MELT IT.
NOW WE ARE GOING TO TAKE OUR GREEN PEPPER THAT HAS OUR SAUCE IN IT AND SIT IT IN THE CENTER. WE MOVED THIS OFF ONTO A PLATTER. AND WE ARE JUST GOING TO ADD SOME SHREDDED LETTUCE AND NOW WE ARE GOING TO TAKE A TOMATO SEGMENT AND WE ARE JUST GOING TO DO THIS TO IT JUST TO ADD SOME COLOR.
The world's greatest part of any cooking show it this part.
HERE YOU GO ANDREW!
Alright, I don't do any of the work...
HAVE A TAST ANDREW.
Look how colorful it is, I'll get a little bit of the lettuce , a little tomato.
Um, that is really good.
DOES IT PASS YOUR TASTE TEST?
