The lure of coaching in a major conference has Rhode Island head coach Jim Harrick on the move.

The 60 year old Harrick, who guided U-C-L-A to a national championship in 1995, is the new head coach of the Georgia Bulldogs.
Harrick spent the past two seasons at Rhode Island and he will succceed Ron Jirsa who was fired earlier this month after failing to lead Georgia to the N-C-Double-A during his two years.
He gets a 4 year contract paying a half a million dollars annually.

The 6 foot 3 all american said earlier he was 99-per cent sure he'd come back for his senior season.
Francis averaged 17 point two points a game and led the Terps to the Sweet 16.
