NATO is getting help from a Norfolk-based aircraft that's joining in the attack on the Serbs.
As the operation expanded to include the city of Belgrade, officials announced the U.S.S. Teddy Roosevelt battle group will head toward the region in support of the assault.
Pentagon officials say there is still NO plan to use ground combat troops in the NATO operation.

A day of fishing ended abruptly for three men following a traffic accident this evening.

The men were riding in a truck that was pulling a trailer with a boat on it.
The trailer started to fishtail causing the driver to lose control.

Roanoke officials are keeping a close eye on the water level at Carvin's Cove.
They are NOT proposing mandatory restrictions at this point, but they are beginning to consider some water conservation measures.

Today, the level is between 17 and 18 feet below the spillway.
That's actually a couple of feet HIGHER than it was in mid-March.

There's no place like home and yesterday Jeff Green won his second career Busch race taking the checkered flag in the Nashville 320.

Casey Atwood would make a big move coming from the 26-th starting position to the number two spot after over 50 laps in the book.
But Jeff Green took over the front spot and he was the leader ahead of Sterling Marlin after the half way point of the race.
Marlin was challenging green for the lead when his left rear tires goes down causing him to spin on the track he hit Matt Kenseth in the spin Marlin was through for the day.
With Marlin out, Green held off the field winning the Nashville 320 on his home track. Atwood would come in second.

Mike Weir and Stewart Sink, hitting this shot, share the lead at 14 under par. This shot sets up a birdie for Sink who shot 65 yesterday. Weir also shot 65.

You could see the snow on the mountain tops high above the course today as the Golfers teed off in round one.
Graham Marsh shot a 5 under par 67 for an 8 under par total and a three shot lead over Larry Nelson.
Nelson charged into contention today with a 66 that left him at 5 under par three shots back.

A couple of tennis notes. Top Seeded Martina Hingis will face Anna Kournikova in tomorrow's title match at the Family Circle Cup Championship.
Hingis beat Jana Novotna in straight sets while it took Kournikova three sets to beat Patty Schnyder.
And Great Britian stayed alive in the their first round Davis Cup match with the United States.
Tim Henman and Greg Rusedski beat Todd Martin and Alex O'Brien in five sets.
The U.S. leads the best of five match 2 to 1.
