The U.S. Supreme Court today agreed to review the death sentence given Terry Williams.
The Danville man's execution had been set for tomorrow. But it's been put off until the high court can hear his appeal, sometime this fall.
Williams is arguing that he had inadequate legal counsel at his sentencing hearing.
Williams was found guilty of killing and robbing Harris Stones of Danville 14 years ago.
Stones' daughters recently wrote to Governor Gilmore, saying they don't want Williams put to death for killing their father.
