A man accused of killing two men over a pair of sneakers says he wants a judge, not a jury, to hear his case.

24-year old Andre Evans is charged with capital murder and could get the death penalty if he's convicted.
Evans allegedly shot to death two men during an argument in Bedford in the fall of 1997.
At a motions hearing today, Evans waived his right to a jury trial.
He also will undergo two separate psychiatric evaluations before his trial gets underway April 19th.

Police have confirmed that a body found in Henry County Sunday is that of Richard Charles Holt, Senior.
But they have not found his killer.
The State Forensic lab identified the body today and determined he died from a gunshot wound.
Eight days ago a neighbor heard shots from Holt's home, then saw his 1986 burgundy, Chrysler Fifth Avenue drive away.

The Washington Redskins are still without a owner tonight.
This afternoon in Atlanta, the NFL's finance committee rejected the Milstein Group's $800 million dollar offer to buy the team.

After the rejection, Howard Milstein withdrew his offer to buy the team, and the league agreed to give him back his $30 million dollar deposit.
So for now, Norv Turner remains the team's coach and Charley Casserly the team's General Manager, and John Kent Cooke remains in charge of his late father's team until the estate finds another buyer.
