Expect to pay at the pump this summer- Gas prices are supposed to be higher this season.
The Energy Department says summer travelers can expect to pay about a dime more than they did last year.
But even with rising prices the agency says gas will be cheaper this summer than in 1996 and 97.
Average gas prices are expected to peak in May but should come down in a few weeks.
Analysts say gas prices will jump about 22 cents hihger than they were in February- the largest two month increase since Iraq invaded Kuwait in 1990.
