But they know what he looks like.

He's been on the run since late Tuesday night.
Ramey is a convicted felon.
Police are offering one thousand dollars for information leading to his arrest.

Former Roanoke Valley drug prosecutor Jeff Rudd struck a deal with prosecutors in Roanoke County today.
Rudd was accused of trying to kill his girlfriend last July, and had been indicted on attempted murder and firearms charges.
He pled no contest to one count of discharging a firearm in an occupied building. The other charges were dismissed.
Rudd will be on probation for three years, and must get counseling.
His lawyers say Rudd was ill at the time of the incident, but is in recovery.

Fire and rescue workers from Roanoke County, Fort Lewis, and the Department of Forestry were called out... and because of the steep terrain, they called out a helicopter to help.

Then a passenger fled.
The trooper pursued and was shot.
He shot back, wounding the man.
