The FBI may be looking into a possible hate crime in Craig County.
The problem started with a racially-charged sign that's prompted outrage and fear among several residents there.

Jean, the sign was posted last Friday outside a home in a trailer home park in what's called Craig City.
The sign included a racial slur apparently directed at a black resident.

However, neighbors said the message was directed at a black man who was new in town.
Deputies would only identify him as "Oscar"--a man from West Virginia who was living with Preston Greenway until a few days ago.

The case has now been turned over to the Salem State Police who have an on-going investigation into the matter.

Last night's arrest of 35- year- old Michael Anthony Ramey in Henry County ended a two- day manhunt for the murder suspect.
And today, two more men were charged in connection with Tuesday's robbery and murder in Axton.

A canine found a human skull yesterday, on Old Mayfield Road.

The Roanoke Express reopened the Roundhouse last night to skate against Dayton in game two of their best five playoff series.

Dayton promised to again be physical last night. Both teams were just that in the first as the game had to be stopped to fix the boards after a hefty check.

Jeff Gordon, who is trying to win this spring event at Bristol for a record fifth straight time, qualifed second yesterday with a lap at 124 point 979 miles an hour.
But the man was Rusty Wallace in the Miller Ford. Rusty set a new track record with a 125 points 142 mile an hour circuit. That's just over 15 seconds a lap.

Joe Palumbo, the man considered the best defensive guard in UVa history played for the Cavs 1949 through 1951.

He enters the hall with two former Hokies, coach Jerry Claiborne, who led Tech to the 1966 and 68 Liberty bowls.

Since talking underwater can be difficult, the couple held up laminated cards with vows printed on them.

At the end of the ten minute ceremony, the newlyweds briefly removed their mouth pieces to seal their union with an underwater kiss.
The Pastor wasn't quite so relaxed - he had only recently become a licensed diver.
