O-J Simspon apparently was injured last night when he struggled with an armed man trying to rob him.
A Los Angeles T-V station caught up with Simpson as he left the Los Angeles police station.

Simpson says he was cut on the hand by the man's gun.
He also says he bit his assailant during the attack and then trid to chase him in his car.
No one has been arrested.

Some Lynchburg property owners want to secede from the historic district where they live, but their attempts failed.

Diana and Granville Coleman say their modern home on Pearl Street has no business being in the Diamond Hill Historic District.. although they built it AFTER the district was created in 1978.
The Colemans told city council last night they obey all the restrictions of the district, but don't enjoy any of the benefits.

Council voted 5 to 1 to "deny" the Coleman's request to de- designate their property.
Councilman JimWhitaker suggested the city appoint a mediator to help residents of the district resolve their conflicts.

A National Transportation Safety Board investigator will continue searching for clues today into the cause of Monday's plane crash in Montgomery County.
So far, the investigator has determined the twin engine plane had enough fuel on board and it did not lose any parts before crashing into the mountian.

Fire gutted a Bedford County Home last night.
The fire broke out at a house in the Village Green Subdivision on Courtland Drive.
Firefighters say the residents were home at the time but there were no serious injuries.

Roanoke residents have voted to save victory stadium.
They had two choices, spend 22 million dollars to renovate it and the surrounding complex, or replace it with a smaller structure, for between 5 and 10 million.
During the public meeting, residents were told to take their opinions and STICK them... on the plan of their choice... with post-it notes.
When all votes were posted... the renovation plan won.
