Mike Fulcher is a career conman who's been previously convicted of dealing marijuana to inmates.
When THIS drug conspiracy went down, Fulcher was doing time in Bland Prison for stealing lawnmowers.
He says even though he had no FORMAL agreement with federal drug agents -- the government had always counted on him to trap criminals.

Now -- the Fulchers say they were trying the same trick in this case -- mailing the drug money and records to Ethel Fulcher to turn over to federal agents.
But even though this pair helped him, the Botetourt County sheriff calls Mike Fulcher's credibility lousy.
