Three students walked into the Columbine- High School and began shooting at about 11:30 today Colorado time.

The school is not far from Denver- in Littleton Colorado-
Apparently at least two students dressed in Trench coats and black masks walked into the high school and began shooting.
One student says the three were part of a club or gang- that did not get along well with the other students. The group was apparently known as the Trench Coat Mafia.
Authorities and police are still on the scene-
They've taken three students into custody who are reportedly freinds of the gunmen.
No word yet on whether the suspected gunmen are in custody or if they are still in the school.

Prosecutor Randy Krantz rested his case today, after calling nearly 2 dozen witnesses in the capital murder trial of Andre Evans.

Attorney General Mark Earley's office is keeping an eye on the Harris-Teeter and Kroger grocery store swap.

A spokesman for Earley said the office has heard from concerned customers.
They say they're concerned that Kroger's plan to take over 11 Harris Teeter stores in Western Virginia will take too much competition out of the market.
Earley's office said it's too early to tell whether it will consider taking any action.
Kroger said there will be plenty of competition in Roanoke after the store swap is complete.... and it has no intention of closing any Kroger stores.

Only 180-thousand of those cases actually turn out to be cancer.

Michael Jordan appears to be getting closer than ever to acquiring part ownership of the Charlotte Hornets.

Reports out of the Queen City today say the only sticking point between Jordan and team owner George Shinn is money.

Jordan has planty of it but he just doesn't want to spend it all.
The team is valued at $160 million and Shinn wants Jordan to pay half.
Jordan, however, believes that he shouldn't have to pay that much since most analysts believe his name alone will raise the value of the team and help Charlotte drum up public support for a new arena.

police in Colorado now say at least 20 people were injured when gunmen opened fire on a high school in the town of Littleton today.
One girl was shot nine times in the chest, one boy was shot 5 times. Some witnesses say the gunmen were aiming at minority students.

Today Rosa Parks is next in line to recieve the highest civilian honor the United States Congress can award.
It was 1955 when Parks was arrested for refusing to give up her seat on an Alabama bus to a white man.
The move sparked a bus boycott by African Americans that led to the end of bus segregation.
The Senate and House voted unanimously to award Parks a Congressional Gold Medal.
