Assistant Montgomery County prosecutor Peggy Frank says she was concerned the media attention would hurt the young woman's grades here at the end of the school year.
But Frank says the alleged victim is unshakable when it comes to pursuing the case and even testified before the grand jury that issued the indictment.
The young woman says she was raped by Druckenmiller in the early morning hours of March fourth at a house in Blacksburg.
Druckenmiller, who now plays for the San Francisco 49-ERs, tells a much different story.
He does NOT dispute the two had sex but says it was purely consensual and has reportedly passed a polygraph.
