Eighteen-year-old Shawn L. Barley is in the Pittsylvania County jail today.
And a 16-year-old whose name was not released is in juvenile court for a hearing.

Now Larry Gene Cole is accused of murdering an Oregon park ranger and trying to kill another.

It took a group of 23 experts and residents to concluede that Smith Mountain Lake needs a full-time professional to check the water quality.

They say volunteers are NOT enough -- a professional should be paid to do these jobs.
