At least three people are dead after strong winds blew through Tennessee last night.
Authorities aren't sure yet if they were tornadoes.
The twisters that touched down Monday in Oklahoma and Kansas left 43 dead, but several people are still missing.

((It's a caravan of hope. Truckload after truckload of desperately needed supplies heading to the victims of the Great Plains tornadoes.

As victims in Oklahoma and Kansas tried to mend shattered lives, the full scope of the storms was beginning to unfold.

Officials confirm that at least one of the Oklahoma City twisters was a so-called F-5 tornado. That's the deadliest category-- they officially call "incredible" with winds more than 260 miles per hour.

"If there were no warning the death toll would have been absolutely calamitous." Police had kept the hardest hit areas of Oklahoma City off-limits until the morning-- when these residents returned, looking for valuables -- looking for anything-- from their devastated homes. And a Denver station is reporting that at least 12 people have been lined up to take a lie detector test to reveal if associates of the teen shooters had previous knowledge in the attack or took part in it.

The Jefferson County Sheriff has said they have the name witnesses have given of a third gunman.
But so far NO one is being called a suspect.
Meantime, It could cost 50 million dollars to repair the damage from the shootings.
The school superintendent says that sum would cover physical repairs at Columbine High School, security improvements and counseling for students and staff.

An apparently accidental shooting has left a 15 year old boy dead.

Police say the teen was playing with a nine-millimeter handgun in his trailer home yesterday when he dropped the weapon and it discharged.
The teen was hit in the chest and died before police arrived on the scene.
Authorities are withholding his name until his mother can be found and notified.
Neighbors say the boy lived with his 18-year old brother and that he wasn't in school because he'd been expelled earlier in the year.
The boy was at home with another teen at the time of the shooting.
Neighbors are puzzled over how he got hold of the handgun.

The Virginia Tech athletic department has suspended one its football players.

Lorenzo Ferguson was suspended from the team after he was charged with breaking into student dorm rooms and allegedly stealing blank checks.
Virginia Tech police say Ferguson, who's a sophomore, used the checks to deposit money into his own checking account.

Murder charges have been dropped against an Appomattox man accused of helping a woman kill her husband last fall.

Prosecutors say there wasn't enough evidence to take the case against 32-year old William Curtis Tidwell to a grand jury.
28-year old Sandra Ann Olivarri is still charged with shooting her husband and dumping his body along a roadside in Campbell County.
Olivarri faces a preliminary hearing later this month.

Akers was checking her mail last year when officer Russell Metcalf approached her.
He asked for her license.
When she did not give it to him, he followed her up her driveway, pepper-sprayed her and dragged her out of the car.

Akers won a 45-thousand-dollar settlement from the county for suffering a torn rotator cuff.
Metcalf was terminated, but later reached a settlement of his own and resigned.

A 15 year old boy was killed yesterday while playing with a loaded, nine millimeter handgun.
The teen was handling the pistol in his home when he dropped it and it went off.
The teen was hit in the chest and died before police arrived on the scene.
Authorities are withholding his name until his mother can be found and notified.

Virginia Tech linebacker Lorenzo Ferguson has been suspended from the team.
He was charged with breaking into student dorm rooms and allegedly stealing blank checks.
Virginia Tech police say Ferguson, who's a sophomore, used the checks to deposit money into his own checking account.
