Eric, officials are calling it "Operation Lightning Strike," and, like the name suggests, it appears to have taken suspected moonshiners in three counties by storm.
Yesterday, agents and local authorities swept into farms, stills and businesses all over Southwestern Virginia.
Today, we had the opportunity to tour one of what police say is among the largest operations involved...in Craig County.

That bust was just one of several raids in Pittsylvania, Franklin and Craig counties that ended an 8-month investigation. Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and state officials executed 10 search warrants in those three counties yesterday.
They say they've uncovered an illegal liquor-manufacturing empire that produced an estimated 7-million dollars worth of moonshine in just four years.
