Council members are still hearing from citizens who question why the city is selling water to Roanoke County, even as it asks citizens to conserve.
Today, officials underscored the fact that most of those county residents, in neighborhoods such as Hollins, North lakes, and Summerdean are in areas not served by the county's Spring Hollow Reservoir.

Dive teams are searching the area around McCoy Falls near Blacksburg for a man who may have drowned.
The Montgomery County sheriff's office got the call around 5pm.
Witnesses say the man was trying to save a young woman when he apparently lost his footing.
Someone else pulled the woman from the water. But the other man hasn't been seen.

The 54-year old con artist had been out on bond- -running a marina in Ocracoke on the Outer Banks of North Carolina... since shortly his arrest on the Island last September.
Under a plea agreement with the government, Bryant admitted he owes investors two- and- a- half million dollars... at least two dozen people- -prominent citizens, doctors and lawyers.
The prosecutor says there's not much chance any of the victims will get any of their money back.

At Ramsey Helms' home-- they seized a family album, radio scanners, suspected moonshine, a gun and two vehicles.

Thirty-seven-year-old Patty Jo Pulley was last seen Friday evening, driving a red Ford pick-up truck.
The truck was found Saturday in North Carolina, but no evidence was recovered in the area.

Saturday at Pimilico race track during the seventh race of the day, Ferrell jumped an infield fence stood right in the middle of the track as the horses thundered by him.
He actually took a swing at one of the horses as it passed by. Luckily no one was hurt, but today Ferrell was charged with first degree assault, trespassing, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and resisiting arrest. Police also say he faces alcohol related charges.
The event took place about 2 and a half hourse before the the Preakness.
