(( Two flower arrangements mark the spot where 13- year old Leslie Cole and 12- year old Eden Hall were killed late Saturday night.
Both died when they were ejected from the pickup they were riding in.
Police have identified the driver as 45- year old Terry Cabell, the mother of Leslie Cole.
Investigators say Cabell was traveling East on Rock Road in Radford when she apparently lost control and swerved into the path of a Ford van.
Right now, police say Cabell and a male passenger maintain that both girls were riding in the cab.
But investigators are waiting on the medical examiner's office to confirm that information.
In the meantime, teachers and classmates at Radford's John N- Dalton Intermediate School are coping with the loss of two students.
The seventh graders, who were close friends, sat together in Kelly Mauro's science class.
