American Airlines crews began dismantalling the plane that crashed in Arkansas Tuesday, killing 9 people.
(------------)
[VO-NAT]
[SUPER=03-Little Rock, AR;]

The plane skidded off the end of the runway in a storm, hitting a steel walkway.
As they take the plane apart, investigators are paying special attention to the wing panels, called spoilers, that are supposed raise up and to help the plane slow down after it lands.
The co-pilot says the captain, who was killed in the crash, set the spoilers during the landing, but a flight data recorder indicates the panels never came up.

"The Christmas Song" is the best known of Mel Torme's more than 300 compositions. It was a big hit for Nat King Cole.
