Some Kosovar refugees are now calling Virginia home.
A family of seven arrived in Roanoke last night and will be living in Lynchburg thanks to a Catholic refugee organization and area churches.
Church members waited for the refugees with flowers and welcome signs written in their native language.
They welcomed the Binaku (Ben-a coo) family.
The mother, father and five grown children were expelled from their homeland and held in a refugee camp before being flown thousands of miles to the U.S.

They say nobody can write Hollywood power and glamour like Jackie Collins.
And with 200 MILLION copies of her books sold in more than 40 countries she is one of the world's top selling authors.
She joins us this afternoon to talk about latest Novel, Dangerous Kiss.
This book features one of your most popular characters, tell us about that.
And what I liked about the book, is that even if you've never picked up a Jackie Collins novel you won't be lost about characters or shorelines, you give plenty of background information.
How much of these characters are based on real life celebrities? First instance there is a very minor character in your book Flick who sounds a lot like a certain famous rock and roller.
Are there sometimes some real life Hollywood stories that think I could never put in my books, no one would believe it?[tease3]

Reggie Miller concentrates before the game--but didn't have much to do with the outcome.
With the Knicks down 16 ot 12 in the first, Chris Childs spins to steal the ball, feeding it up-court to Marcus Camby, who cuts the lead to two with a thunderous dunk--
But that was as good as it got for New York--
Chris Mullin scored 18 for the Pacers, but the big star was previous non-factor Jalen Rose--
Rose had 19 points off the bench--including this hard-fought lay-up in the fourth as Indiana pulled away--winning the game 90 to 78.

Yet one more of NASCAR's few remaining family tracks is about to be gobbled up by big business, according to reports coming out of Charlotte yesterday.
[SUPER=03-Richmond/May 14; :00]
Reportedly, Bill France Jr. -- the head of International Speedway Corporation -- met with track officials at the Richmond International Raceway last month to discuss the sale of the track.
If it goes through, it would give ISC 13 of the 21 tracks used in NASCAR.
However, Wayne Sawyer -- the vice president of the Richmond track -- is denying that any talks have taken place. Sawyer says that his family plans to keep the track.
However, track owner Paul Sawyer is in his 80's and such a sale would make sense. Plus, only Indy, Richmond, Pocono and Martinsville are privately owned--AND the France family owns half of Martinsville.
