Voters head to the polls across Virginia today, to pick candidates for House and Senate seats, sheriff and supervisor.
In Botetourt, Craig and Roanoke counties, voters will pick either Al Bedrosian or Ed Lynch as the Republican nominee against Democratic incumbent Dick Cranwell.
Botetourt also has a GOP primary for sheriff. So far, the turnout has been about 12 percent...much heavier than expected.
Voters in the Cave Spring district of Roanoke County are deciding between incumbent Fuzzy Minnix and challenger Jim Garris.
The turnout there is much lower, just over one percent.
The polls close at 7 tonight.

[SUPER=01-Jackie Collins/Author;]

And what I liked about the book, is that even if you've never picked up a Jackie Collins novel you won't be lost about characters or shorelines, you give plenty of background information.

How much of these characters are based on real life celebrities? First instance there is a very minor character in your book Flick who sounds a lot like a certain famous rock and roller.

Are there sometimes some real life Hollywood stories that think I could never put in my books, no one would believe it?[tease3] [SPORTS MUSIC UNDER]

With the Knicks down 16 ot 12 in the first, Chris Childs spins to steal the ball, feeding it up-court to Marcus Camby, who cuts the lead to two with a thunderous dunk--
But that was as good as it got for New York-- Chris Mullin scored 18 for the Pacers, but the big star was previous non-factor Jalen Rose--
Rose had 19 points off the bench--including this hard-fought lay-up in the fourth as Indiana pulled away--winning the game 90 to 78.

However, track owner Paul Sawyer is in his 80's and such a sale would make sense. Plus, only Indy, Richmond, Pocono and Martinsville are privately owned--AND the France family owns half of Martinsville.
