Tonight officials and residents in the Rockbridge County community are mourning the death of 48-year-old William Knick the Second.
Knick died unexpectedly this morning in the company of two other town employees.
Glasgow Mayor Sam Blackburn says Knick was a great employee who was very diligent in his work.
No word yet on what caused his death.
Knick is survived by his wife and three children.

41-year old Leroy Johnson was taken into custody in Lexington, North Carolina.
Authorities in Carroll County began searching for Johnson Friday afternoon after his girlfriend left a note at an Exxon station in Cana--asking the clerk to call 9-1-1.
Local police searched for the pair overnight and into Saturday morning before Johnson was finally arrested at the woman's home in North Carolina.
No one was seriously injured.

A man from Fancy Gap has been charged with transporting illegal whiskey, after a raid on a car repair shop in Grayson County.
Charles Edward Baldwin was arrested over the weekend, at the D&B Garage in Independence.
Authorities seized about 40 gallons of moonshine, a pistol, a sawed-off shotgun, and a pickup truck.
The bust came after a three-month investigation.

Yesterday the Cowboys siigned rookie free agent quarterback Brian Kuklick. Kuklick finished his college career with five thousand, 334 yards passing, 30 touchdowns and 32 interceptions. He averaged just under 244 passing yards a game last season for the demon deacons. The Cowboys open training camp next month in Whichita Falls.

The defending world champion Dallas Stars gave their fans a chance to see the Stanley Cup up close yesterday, in a parade honoring the team.

The city streets were filled with thousands of spectators. The parade, which began at City Hall and headed down to Reunion Arena for a party, involved thousands of fans and bands. Fans came out in their true colors to support their newly crowned champs. One of the first floats contained the Dallas coaching staff and the players would follow. Darian hatcher was one of many Stars who held up the cup for fans to see. The Stars captured the NHL title with a triple overtime win over the Buffalo Sabres Sunday.
