((From Columbus, Ohio to Harlingen, TX.. a manhunt is underway in small towns that line this country's railroad tracks.. Authorities are looking for 38 year old Rafael Resendez-Ramirez, who has been linked to 8 deaths since April.. a number that appears to be growing, and along with it, fear.
Jeanette Julius/Apple River Resident: We live a town away by the tracks and we are like maybe we should lock our doors. People aren't used to this kind of thing." ".this kind of thing" is an unpredictable murder spree. In the last three days, 5 people in Illinois are believed to have become the latest victims of a man who hops around the country on box cars.
On Sunday, the bodies of a couple in their 20's was discovered in their rented farmhouse near tracks, then on Tuesday, the FBI said it had physical evidence linking Ramirez to the deaths of an elderly man and his daughter. and 80 miles southwest of Chicago, the body of another woman was found, again near a set of tracks. Mayor Elmer Bush/Apple River: "We are all concerned about this. Nothing ever happened like that here before." Ramirez uses a variety of disguises and alias, has a snake tatoo on his left forearm and scarred hands... In all, authorities say he is connected to 5 deaths in Texas, one in Kentucky, and now the 5 in Illinois... most of his alleged victims were beaten, some shot. The FBI has added Ramirez to it's 10 Most Wanted list and is hoping reward money totaling $125-thousand will help catch the nation's latest alleged serial killer.. MM, CBS News, Detroit.))

It concludes that nearly 10 per cent of tooth decay among children 5 to 17 comes from moderate levels of lead exposure.
The study from the University of Rochester's Department of Dentistry suggests that lead may cause tooth decay by weakening teeth as they develop .. or by interfering with saliva production that protects against tooth decay.
But researchers caution more work is needed to confirm a definite link.
