A man from Fancy Gap has been charged with transporting illegal whiskey, after a raid on a car repair shop in Grayson County.
Charles Edward Baldwin was arrested over the weekend, at the D&B Garage in Independence.
Authorities seized about 40 gallons of moonshine, a pistol, a sawed-off shotgun, and a pickup truck.
The bust came after a three-month investigation.

In less than a month, the Giles County Commonwealth's Attorney will have to prove to a three judge panel why his license to practice law in Virginia should NOT be revoked or suspended.

For more than a year, the Virginia State Bar has been investigating Garland Spangler's conduct and competence while in office.
Yesterday-- the results of the state bar investigation were filed at the Giles County courthouse.
The investigation centered on six criminal cases where Spangler made questionable decisions.

There were also two instances of failing to notify the court of plans to bring out a suspect's prior record-- to secure a tougher sentence.

Officials and residents in the town of Glasgow mourn the death of a community leader.
William Knick the second died yesterday at the age of 48.
He served as town mayor for over 15 years.
Glasgow Mayor Sam Blackburn says Knick was a great employee who was very diligent in his work.
No word yet on what caused his death.
Knick is survived by his wife and three children.
