Hank Edward Little was 34 years old, from Evington, south of Lynchburg.
His disappearance Thursday night was solved today.
Joy Sutton is in the newsroom with the details.

and two of his friends were spending the evening at the lake near the Mariners Landing area.
At around 10:30 pm on Thursday Little told his friends he was going for a swim,
and that was the last time he was seen alive.
However at 6:30 this morning Little's body was spotted in the water.

Little's body was discovered by a woman renting this house on Lake Retreat property.
The woman says she saw a body floating in the cove area behind the house.
Jim Ottinger who lives close to the lake says he was worried about discovering the body.

State police have not yet released details of the accident, but we do know that a truck left the roadway.

An out of control wild fire has already destroyed 3-thousand acres in parts of Reno Nevada.

Right now fire fighters have 60-percent of it contained but the flames destroyed one garage and badly damaged a house and a mobile home.
Firefighters had their work cut out for them as they battled heavy winds which made it hard to control the wildfire.

As they drove into a heavy thunderstorm over Interstate 80, softball sized hail came crashing down on the highway.
Driver David Schmelzer was caught out in the open, as chunks of ice crashed through his front windshield.
His hands were cut by flying glass, but he saved his eyesight and possible his life, by grabbing his sunglasses, which protected his eyes while he drove to saftey.
