There are reports that JFK Jr. will be buried at sea tomorrow morning-

After being identified by his uncle, Senator Edward Kennedy--The bodies

three killed in a plane crash Friday night-- are finally going home.

Officials say they have also recovered most of the fuselage of the
Piper Saratoga plane John Junior was flying.
It will be shipped to a Coast Guard base and the investigation into the
why the crash occurred-- will continue.
For days-- the search for the single engine plane and the victims of the
crash has gripped the nation. President Clinton spoke about the tragedy
after the aircraft had finally been located.))

A lightning strike was responsible for a house fire tonight in south Roanoke.

Annabelle and Bill Lavin (LAV-in) were sitting down to dinner when they heard a clap of thunder close by.
They didn't know their house was on fire until their neighbors on Cassell Avenue alerted them.
The flames were trapped between the roof and ceiling... Firefighters had to ventilate the roof in four places to bring it under control.
No one was injured.

The prosecution wrapped up its case today in the rape trial of former Virginia Tech quarterback, Jim Druckenmiller.

The athlete, who was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers, is accused of raping a 22- year old college student at a party in Blacksburg, back in March.
Today the young woman took the stand telling jurors she passed out and that when she woke up she found Druckenmiller on top of her having sex.
She says she never yelled for help because she was disoriented and scared.
She also told the jury she had NOT been flirting with the athlete earlier in the evening.

Neighbors say a woman was delivering some kind of document to her ex-boyfriend, when he pulled her inside and locked the door.
Neighbors say the woman's teenage daughter was outside the apartment when it happened and called police, who found two bodies just inside the front door.
Investigators say no names will be released until they finish notifying family members.

The proposal to turn the community of Prices Fork into a town is not settling well with residents.
During a public hearing residents voiced their concerns over new and additional taxes, funding for a new form of government, police and fire departments, as well as new water and sewage hookups.

The Environmental Protection Agency says that for years the company's boilers put out dust and soot above legal limits.

Today, the Big East and the Music City Bowl announced a multi-year agreement

to send a league team to the Nashville, Tennessee based game for the nest three years.
The Hokies won the Inaugural Music City Bowl, crushing Alabama 38-7 this past December. This partnership will match a the fourth place finisher in the Big East against a selection from the SEC.
