General Motors is recalling three and a-half million vehicles because of problems with anti-lock brakes.

The agency has received nearly eleven thousand reports of failing brakes in "S" and "T" series trucks.
There have been more than two thousand crashes with 300 injuries.

A woman is recovering after a sprint boat crashed into fans during a race in Washington state.

It flew up an embankment before it struck a female spectator.
Holly Barklay suffered internal injuries and some minor scrapes and bruises. She is expected to make a full recovery.

In other news off the NBA court, Sean Elliott, one of the key members of the newly crowned world champion San Antonio Spurs needs a kidney transplant.
