34- year old Cynthia Carroll was sentenced today to two years in prison-- with an opportunity to enter a treatment program after eight months.
Carroll is a former teacher at the now defunct "Three Angels Christian School" located in the basement of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Radford.
While teaching, she began having sex at the church with Jeremy Cultice when he was 14- years old.
Prior to sentencing, her attorneys tried to paint a picture of a pure and lonely woman who's only crime was returning the affection of one of her students.
Cultice says she took advantage of his innocence.
