Cynthia Caroll's attorney says Caroll lacked self esteem when she began having sex with a 14- year old boy, in 19-91.
It's a relationship described by prosecutors as not only illegal, but repulsive.
Carroll was the boy's teacher at a private school at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Radford.
Yesterday, her attorneys argued for a lighter sentence saying Carroll was a depressed and lonely woman -- who liked the fact someone of the opposite sex was pursuing HER.
Jeremy (Cull-tiss) Cultice, who's now 21, says Carroll was clearly the instigator.
